Brief
As a group of four, we have been set the task of creating an infographic – displaying quantitative information on the topic of a social issue of our choice. The overall aim of our magazine infographic is to raise awareness of our chosen social issue to a wide audience.
Outcome
The end of the project sees a produced infographic that highlights the concern of global rising loneliness since the pandemic. It compiles our group research and demonstrates a clear and interesting visual experience for raising awareness of our chosen social issue.

Along with the finished animation and poster, a design report was produced in line with my design process to document my research, findings and outcomes.

Overall, I found this project an exciting learning experience. Prior to this module, I had never considered information design as something I'd enjoy but that has changed drastically since the project commenced. We worked effectively as a group, allocating roles in our team and utilising a structure for meetings and shared designing which made the design process a lot smoother. Another new personal was designing with After Effects, which I found a challenge at first. I'm fairly new to motion design and it's an area I need practice in, but I found this project rewarding and a great introduction to animation.
